To thoroughly implement the requirements of the reform on strengthening the industrial workforce in the new era and continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of the establishment of employee innovation studios, the establishment of the Jinan Automotive Digital Technology Application Innovation Studio Alliance and the project signing ceremony were grandly held at Sinotruk on December 25. Gong Junqing, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Chairman of the Jinan Municipal Federation of Trade Unions, and Jiang Pengpeng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Director, and Chairman of the Labor Union of SINOTRUK, attended the ceremony and delivered speeches.
At the ceremony, Gong Junqing and representatives of the alliance member units took the stage to jointly witness the official establishment of the Jinan Automotive Digital Technology Application Innovation Studio Alliance, opening a new chapter of co-construction, sharing, and in-depth integrated cooperation. Subsequently, representatives of the alliance member units took the stage in turn to jointly sign the Innovation Studio Alliance Agreement.
On behalf of the Jinan Municipal Federation of Trade Unions, Gong Junqing extended warm congratulations on the establishment of the alliance. She stated that the establishment of the Automotive Digital Technology Application Innovation Studio Alliance is not only an inevitable requirement for seizing development opportunities and enhancing the core competitiveness of the industry but also a specific practice of implementing the “Industrial Strong City” strategy of the Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, and more importantly, a powerful measure to integrate innovation resources in the automotive industry and build a system for collaborative research and development and achievement transformation. All member units of the alliance should strengthen collaborative innovation, focus on talent training, promote achievement transformation, and work together to help Jinan build a highland for automotive industry innovation. The Jinan Municipal Federation of Trade Unions will fully support the construction of the innovation studio alliance, continue to make efforts in policy support, resource connection, atmosphere creation, etc., and create more favorable conditions for the development of the alliance.
Jiang Pengpeng expressed gratitude for the long-term trust and support given to SINOTRUK by the Jinan Municipal Federation of Trade Unions and reported on the annual production and operation achievements of SINOTRUK. He stated that as the initiator and organizer of the alliance, SINOTRUK will always uphold the concept of “WE ARE ONE,” continuously promote the innovation and application of digital technologies in Jinan’s automotive industry, open the “door” to resources to be a “sharer” of the alliance; take the lead in tackling key problems to be a “pioneer” of the alliance; build a growth “stage” to be a “servant” of the alliance; build a communication “bridge” to be a “liaison” of the alliance, work together with all member units to promote the high-quality operation of the alliance, and make the alliance a “source of digital innovation,” an “incubator for craftsmen’s growth,” and a “booster for industrial upgrading,” injecting stronger momentum into the high-quality development of Jinan’s automotive industry.
At the conference, representatives of Sinotruk Group and Qilu Craftsmen from JIER Machine Tool Group shared their innovation work experience in turn, focusing on the operation and management of innovation studios, practical cases of innovation projects, and the transformation and application of achievements.
Jia Xiangbo, a National Model Worker and Qilu Craftsman, read out the alliance initiative, calling on all member units to bravely shoulder their missions and strive to be “vanguards” of independent innovation; promote openness and collaboration to build an “overpass” for resource sharing; achieve mutual improvement through teaching and learning to create a “fast track” for talent growth; cultivate a fertile ground to carry forward the “craftsmanship spirit” of pursuing excellence. With the establishment of the alliance as a new starting point, they should work hand in hand, pool wisdom to tackle key problems, and jointly polish the golden signs of “Made in China” and “Made in Jinan.”
Before the conference, Gong Junqing and her entourage also visited the Shandong Heavy Industry Future Science and Technology Museum, and learned in detail about the group’s industrial layout, product highlights, powertrains, new energy vehicles, and other aspects.
More than 130 people attended the event, including relevant responsible comrades of the Jinan Municipal Federation of Trade Unions, member units of the Jinan Automotive Digital Technology Application Innovation Studio Alliance, relevant responsible persons of various innovation studios, and employee representatives.
