The first round of the finals kicked off with 20 contestants from marketing, R&D, and frontline production and sales departments, competing in 10 one-on-one matchups and showcasing their skills around the company’s core businesses and key products on the same stage.
Covering the six major business segments, high-end technological products, and full-lifecycle services, the contestants conveyed Shandong Heavy Industry Group’s voice of technology, excellence, and responsibility to the world with spirited demeanors, authentic s, and vivid stories.
Impromptu Speech
The second round featured an impromptu speaking challenge, where the 10 advancing contestants randomly drew topics on the spot and delivered a two-minute speech under time constraints.
Whether addressing cutting-edge topics such as AI and new energy, or corporate cultural values like “Never Settle. Always Lead. Forever Dominate” the contestants responded with poise and eloquence, showcasing both their quick adaptability and solid, comprehensive knowledge reserves.
Race Against Time
In the third round, the six finalists gained the freedom to compete either “as a team” or “solo,” launching into a rapid-fire knowledge challenge to accumulate points. The diverse competition formats heightened both the intensity and excitement of the event to the maximum.
War Of Words
The fourth round saw the six top contestants reshuffled into 3v3 debate teams, engaging in a fierce verbal showdown on “Global Standardization vs. Local Adaptation.” This dual test of intellectual agility and eloquence fully demonstrated the critical thinking charm and professional depth of the young talents from Shandong Heavy Industry.
Take You On A World Tour
As an exciting bonus, the competition invited talents proficient in 11 less commonly taught languages—including German, Korean, Spanish, and Italian—to deliver speeches themed “A Journey Around the World.” Through the power of language, they guided the audience across mountains and seas, connected the world, and showcased the unique charm of diverse cultures.
Moment of Glory, Witness the Champions
The championship reached its thrilling climax after five intense rounds of fierce competition, culminating in three First Prizes, seven Second Prizes, ten Third Prizes, eleven Excellence Awards for Less Commonly Taught Languages, and a special “Audience Favorite” award. From breaking through the preliminaries to competing in the finals, the winning contestants stood out with exceptional strength, becoming the shining “Language Stars of Shandong Heavy Industry Group” in this event.
Domestic and international expert judges were specially invited to attend and score the competition, providing authoritative evaluations of each contestant’s performance from a professional perspective, thus ensuring the event’s professionalism and credibility.
